S front calipers

Ive noticed that my front pass. caliper looks like some of the clear coat is missing. Its a line across the caliper right around the F. I tryed cleaning it with some wax but it didnt do anything. I looks like the F is almost gone. Its at the stealership right now and I guess the big wigs there said that since its not a mechanical issue and its not cosmetic that there not going to do anything becasue when it gets sent back to Infiniti they will charge the dealer back since its not a mechanical faliure. Anyone else had this issue? Ill post pics later tonight because Im at work and havent taken any yet. The dealer has alway taken care of any other problem Ive had so I dont really think there blowing me off. Do you thing I should call Infiniti and ask them about it.

Also I thought that the drivers side was doing ti also but they say they cleaned that one up and its fine. Ive also never used anything besides soap and water on my wheels. No kind of wheel cleaner at all. The car has less then 12k on it and has only been in service for around 8 months.

I think you got a 50/50 chance with it. Good luck!

Rock wedged itself in there for one rotation and scratched the caliper. Happens on a lot of cars these days with minimal wheel and caliper clearance. Not much you can do...
