Did something totally mindless...
So yesterday I drove over one of those cement tire stoppers you see in parking spaces. I was going on very little sleep and thought I had found a convenient shortcut out of a parking lot but obviously did not look carefully enough at what I was about to drive over. Anyways, underneath my car there was this big short-lived scraping/BANGING noise as I drove over the tire stopper. I was going between 5-10 mph. My car seems to be driving okay and the suspension feels okay. I also looked under the car and everything seems okay but I'm no mechanic. Just wondering if I should get it looked at to be certain. That noise freaked me out.
Any vibrations at speed?
You could probably have them check it out for free during your next oil change, but as long as you arent getting vibrations, weird noises, or leaking fluids you are probably fine.

Nope, no vibrations or noises or leaks.
That's what I was thinking - having the dealership take a look next time I bring the car in for servicing. I'm guessing these machines are pretty durable and can take some abuse. But of course I hope not to put it through anymore. Felt pretty dumb yesterday.
