Braking Annoyance!!!

Hi all,

I just got my AUTOMATIC G37 Journey Coupe with Premium Package and Navi last week. So I love my G37 but one thing that annoys me is when I break and about to come to a complete stop, the car surges forward a little bit. I know its the gears changing but can't they make it less subtle?? I mean it feels like I'm jerking back and forth everytime I'm about to stop! Has this happened to anyone else or is it just me?

420 miles as of right now. Should it be a concern? Should I tell the dealership?

take your car to the dealership, they should fix it for you for free.

Thanks for the responses guys! I will set an appointment soon. Seems like I'm not the only one with this problem.

You have an 08 or 09? If 09, shame on Infiniti for not fixing the surging issue. I had to get my ECU reflashed to get this fixed.

I have a 09 sedan and I think I might have this problem also. I've expirienced it a couple times when slowing down for a stoplight and came close to hitting the person infront of me. I still have to expirement with it though also because I think part of my foot might have been hitting the gas pedal also while braking.

Yeah, mines an 09. I read that link that was posted in this thread and it seemed like majority was 08's. Figure they would fix it but I guess not. A little upset this had to happen but oh well. Hopefully this is the only problem.
