since my rims are coming in two days , i need to install eibach that i bought it few weeks ago. how hard is it to install the rear one?
Same thing I did I had my Eibach's put on right before my wheels get here (this coming Thursday)...in all honesty, just pay to have them done unless you have access a really good spring compressor (ie: wall-mounted). The rears are extremely easy to do, whereas the fronts are a PITA because a compressor is required.
I dashed out the $240 and had an extremely reputable shop in town perform the work. They did not put a single ding/scratch on anything (including wheels, calipers, fenders, etc), and completed the work in 1 hour and 15 minutes. Well worth it for me.
I fully agree with both replies above. If anything goes wrong while doing it yourself, you feel like slamming your head through a brickwall, and still have to fix it out of your own wallet.
If anything is f'd by an installer , you can hold them responsible for any damage that has been done during install.
