Color Samples

Mike the Powdercoater has done a number of things for us on this forum. He has a lot of samples on the brake calipers posted here: Mike's Calipers

However, I just could not decide so he was kind of enough to send me some small samples. I have the following samples that I do not need anymore. If anyone is seriously considering one of these colors, then PM me and I will be glad to mail you the sample.

Candy Red
Dark Candy Red
Candy Blue

Why would you get Akebono on your calipers?

About 7-10 days. Took them off last Friday and mailed. Got to PC today. He committed to doing them this week. Put on this next weekend if I am lucky.....if not then early next week.

I did it myself and car is on 4 jackstands in the garage. Quicker if you can get them PC local to you, but if you pay someone to do all the work and PC them the cost is just a lot higher. I emailed Mike the PC and asked him when would be good to send them to him so he had time to do them. He is a pilot and is in and out a bit, so I would coordinate with him to minimize down time.

I would take them off myself and reinstall if I knew how (plus had the tools) in order to keep cost down. I've heard it's easy to remove/install brakes. How much is this costing you? Gamedog says he has a buddy who does PC in socal, so I'm trying to ask him for some info as well.

Can someone do a DIY brake caliper removal? I did a search and couldn't find anything.

I agree, but just can't get in too big of a hurry on our end.
