Some Questions in Regards to Bushings

Hi Guys,

I apologize if my questions seems noobish, but that is what this forum is for right?

Are bushings vehicle specific or are they just size specific? I went to Energy Suspension's website and did not see an application for our car, but I saw some ppl talking about installing them with their Stillen sways when I did a search on bushings. Please clarify.

If they are just size specific, anyone know of a good place to get some for our cars? I am looking for the following when I do my sways:

Front Arm Set
Front Sway Bar Set
Rear Arm Set
Rear Diff Carrier

Any input / advise / clarification is greatly appreciated!!!! Thanks!

With the exception of sway bar bushings, these are generally vehicle specific. Energy will make them if there is enough demand.

Energy has a tool on their site to measure the sway bar diameter and which sway bar bushings will work on the car.

Thanks! I guess Napa/Pepboys/Autozone have some standard sizes?

When my car gets out of the shop, i'll do some measuring and replace them.

As it is, I hear TONS of squeaking due to the Stillen bars not being the same size as the stocks. The must rub like crazy on the stock rubber bushings.

yeah... i was gonna recommend the local pep boys, autozone, etc.. they usually carry the sway bar bushings and end link bushings. Make sure to use the included lube or they will squeak to no end.
