G37 Sedan hood questions
G37 Sedan hood questions
I want a vented hood (real, functional vents) but don't want water getting in while I wash the car (I'd like to start using a pressure washer). Do any of these hoods come with some kind of lever to block water from getting in? Or something that can be placed there to block the water without just being pushed off by water flow.
Which hoods should be avoided or sought after, quality-wise?
Where's a good place to find options for all the associated parts like hood pins or those latches you can lift up to unlock the hood?
I don't want CF. I would have to get something ready to be painted/painted like the stock QAA paint, or a CF one that can be painted.
This seems nice: https://www.mobbmotorsports.com/2009...is-hd-7110.htm (Aside from the CF.. but if I can get it painted by someone that would be alright). They indicate that it works with the existing hardware, including the latch. Isn't it pretty much a great idea to get hood pins with any aftermarket hoods? Or would it be just as safe using this hood as using my OEM hood?
