It doesn't look significantly off...yes its diff but such a removed area from the rest that the eye wont track long enough and you will be going sufficiently fast that they will be focusing on the road anyways... lol and frankly don't really notice the headliner...well, unless reclined in seat...there was this girl in college and she would....err another story lol...but yeah, if you don't find something, maybe call it a day and go for it...
I致e got some more samples coming in so I知 going to cross my fingers and hope one is closer. I知 holding off on returning this hide to just in case it is the best option...
In other news, got a special deliver today. First piece of the system!
Just a little 10w6 for the ol coupe
Trying to put a quality system together for the cheap. Sub is going in a zenclosure made to spec. I am close to pulling the trigger on a used JL MHD 900/5. I find people sleep on these since they are marine amps and you can find some steals on them. Lastly, I知 looking at 3-way passive components up front and leaning toward Dynaudio Esotecs. Not a bad setup I think and I may be able to do it all under 1500.
What paint are you going to use? I used the Duplicolor vinyl / fabric / plastid dye and had some success with it. I had to paint some plastics on a tan seat black.
Yeah I would try the dye, not the paint. If you prime, paint and clear it then it'll probably end up glossy and not match at all. The seat parts I did turned out pretty well.
I just realized you said dye. I missed that. These won稚 take dye. If you scroll up you値l see what the die does to most of the pieces, nothing. It works well for the pieces it works on tho.
The Spray dye is different from a liquid dye. I've used it to color/recolor tons of plastic parts successfully, including dash pieces. It's just a spray paint meant for use on hard plastics with special solvent.
Re: the sunroof shade handle... I found this Shade Handle at the discountinfinitiparts.com website. If you scroll down it says "UNIQUE BLACK." It is for the Q60 (CV37). I would verify it with Sid first, however.
EDIT 25 JUNE 2020, DISREGARD ABOVE LINK. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE PART NUMBER IS NOT FOR THE BLACK HANDLE.

Reason: Quoted part number was incorrect as to requested part.
Good progress! I'd recommend painting the grab handles with rustoleum flat black paint. Same with the seat belt pieces where they retract. I painted my grab handles like that and it works well, while looking OEM. Or just do a grab handle delete, it would look more sporty.

@deep0542 I filed our class action vs @ILM-NC G37S : We the plaintiff demand 1 nice comment per week to bump our threads over the next month to compensate for the $17.99 we wasted on buying these gray sunroof handles you have been peddling all over town. Failure to do so will result in bad karma and your galley gasket will go bad.
I accept full blame and apologize again. ALL of the parts catalogs I checked (US and abroad) said BLACK. However, in my defense, I did state: "I would verify it [the p/n] with Sid [at DIParts] first..." But, still, it was my goof.
I will say that ever since discountinfinitiparts and parts.infinitiusa changed to this "new" catalog system I have noticed several inaccuracies and errors.
