Majority of us G owners have this issue. Use wd40 on the bolts holding the seat bracket, a little on the rails, and other metal on metal parts you see. That should quiet the squeak or eliminate it completely.

How long does WD40 tend to last before you have to reapply it? Would something a little more viscous work better?

I wouldn’t be too sure, just search the forums as this has been asked about 1000 times. 😉

Does yours creak from the frame underneath or somewhere else?

Mine seems to creak from the upper middle of the seat below headrest - presumably from the foam rubbing against the frame internally. I would need to remove the upper leather to fix.

i think mine is coming from the bracket. Happens whenever I turn hard or shift my weight on the seat. Im getting use to the sound so I stop caring so much about it. It’s a 8 year old car somethings are just gonna squeak.

Mine feels like it's creaking somewhere around where the back of the seat and the bottom meet. I'm just gonna roll the seat forward and apply a little penetrating lube and see what happens
