Fix keyed front end

Someone keyed my hood and both fenders. Any idea of how much it might cost to properly fix it? It's pretty deep, through the çlear coat and paint in places. Great way to start off my ownership. I will go through my insurance if need be but I really don't want to, unless we are talking over 1500in damage or more.

The paint will have to be blended to the doors since both fenders bumper and hood will have to be painted. You're easily looking at 4k ask me how I know

i think 4k would be for a premium paint job. If you go with cash and need to paint just those 3 areas, i would say it could start at around 1000+. Go to a few body shops and get a quote.

Ouch... Guy my dad knew had his BRAND NEW explorer entirely keyed... poor guy. Go to a body shop and get a quote, that's the best way to get an idea.

Dad replaced a fender on his A6, $2k. it won't be cheap, but it is what it is

What's with the victim shaming?? Even if he did, which I can't stand, this would not be warranted.

This is ridiculous and totally uncalled for. Executive probably works hard to get what he wants and some jealous punk ruins his ride. There's a special place for a** ho^$s that do this. Those gouges are too deep for paint correction, they appear to be all the way down into base coat if not the primer. That's a respray job on the entire car if there ever was one. Call your insurance company, that's what you pay them for.

"Bunch of animals in this town..."

Claim it for sure, it's gonna cost you more than $1.5k, I'm thinking close to $4k.

Do a insurance claimed called vandalism, these usually don't hit your insurance rates up to 4 climes.

Or use your fingernail if it doesn't catch the scratches they usually can come out.

first off, wow someone really hates you... don't know what you did to get keyed up like that and it really doesn't matter but if i was you claim it on your insurance. hopefully you have full coverage where you can claim it on the comprehensive side of the claim. the deductible is lower on comprehensible claims anyways so i have no idea why people sweat it when they have to call the insurance and submit for a coverage on a claim. you don't see the insurance company being afraid to send you a premium bill every 6 months or every quarter do you? they took your money for coverage and now its time for them to cough some of it back.
