Rattling Noise Coming from Dash

Bought a 2009 G37 with 108k miles on it about a week ago and recently have been hearing this rattling noise coming from the dash. I haven't been able to replicate the noise when I'm park by hitting the dash or w/e. Also haven't been able to pinpoint what exactly causes it when I am driving. I included audio of it and tried to boost the sound as much as I could. I've surfed the forums for anything related to it but haven't found anything yet. Only thing I can think of now is taking it to the dealership but I'm afraid of the bill I might get. Thought I would check here first. Any help would be appreciated. I wouldn't mind the sound but the thing is I can even hear it over the radio.

More than likely your windshield cowl is causing it, it's a known issue. Put some foam tape on underside like it has now

wow I have this same exact noise in my car just recently, i haven't tried to fix it or anything. I usually play music so it doesn't really bother me but let me know if you find a fix!

That's very high pitched.... bad idle pulley? Did you check under the hood?
Could also be plastic on plastic, my center console squeaks in the cold when the chassis flexes.

My center console is where my squeaking comes from. I've tried spring some silicone based lube and it helped a bit but sadly it comes and goes. So much for luxury...

My console lid also squeaks. I think it started 5 or 6 years ago. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does I know what it is, and it's annoying.

Fortunately (?) for me, the car has become much louder and much more ridged over the years, so what bugged me 5 years ago is just a blip of nothing today.

Good luck fixing it, or ignoring it. "luxury" is just something in your head, subjective and malleable.
