I have ordered those mud flap from ebay but I want to know if any of you have had any issue with installing them???
Those rust proof hardware are not that long enough and it doesn't sit properly there's like a space

not sure what you're referring to with respect to the hardware...but from the ebay listing you posted its showing compatibility with base models and sport models which doesn't sound right....there should be two different models for these parts b/c the sport model sedans have different shaped rocker panels where the splash guards attach so the splash guards for the sport and no-sport models should be different too...do you have any pictures of the issue?

 

Here's is the issue, basically I have to push it with my hands but when I put some double sided tape it still came out.

 

u paid to get it painted too? how come you never just go oem. it woulda fit and been prepainted

 

ya I know it was a big mistake too but I only paid $100 to get it painted too but I guess from looking here and reading the comments that why I bought them and I was trying to save money. I may order them from the dealer now. they are not installed on the car.

the one i see on ebay used and new that are oem do they not fit your car? theyre usually reasonably priced.

 

its weird cuz the last one i bought said it match the 2009 g37xs sedan, some fit but a lot didnt fit cuz they were mostly for the coupe.

thats a very reasonable price for oem and painted lol

 

it is but mine is the xs and thats a sport model and it looks like it maybe $120 but I will wait for their response and go from there lol

 

thanks for posting the pictures, but its still a little hard to tell whats going on (maybe b/c of the black side splitter?..is that a painted oem rocker or an aftermarket splitter?)

I'm assuming you're having an issue with just the fronts correct? did you drill the holes for hardware to mount it?..did the kit come with the template? once you drill the mounting holes with the template I would imagine the hardware will hold it in place like you're doing with your hand.

if its just the fronts, again it may the difference in the shape of the sport rocker panels and the ones you got may be meant to fit the non sport one

 

That is an oem rocker, its white but I plasti dip it black to see how it would look lol, we did drilled the whole but the problem is where you see the red circle it will not stay close even with the double sided tape. like you said those must be for the non sport model but i have found a set of 4 for the sport model and they will painted it for $79.00 on this website : https://www.tunerzstore.com/splash-guards-2009-g37-sedan

sorry to hear that...at least you can probably sell them and recoup some of your loss I'm sure someone would be interested given that they are painted
