good or bad price quoted for vinyl wrap?
Talked to a shop today about doing a chrome delete on the window trim. $150-200 depending on how hard the rear quarter window trim (the S shape) is. That seems high. Is that high? Are *they* high?
That is with using 3M or avery vinyl to match the b-pillar oem vinyl.

I don;t think thats too bad if thats labour and materials...check out the DIY on here most people do it themselves because its super easy, the way a shop would do it would probably waste a lot of material on that S shape rear quarter but it'd be much faster so the price probably covers that too. ...the materials are about $30 and its at least a few hours of labour if your do it the DIY way

Good to know that's a sane quote for labor and materials.
Guy said that 3M makes a chrome-delete kit now that is a roll of 2" wide matte vinyl so they don't have to waste a whole yard sheet, although he wasn't sure if he could flex it enough to do the S.
I'm not confident that I can do it well enough on the exterior to last any appreciable time. The s-shape is a concern too. I've tried tinting before, under professional guidance, and just don't have the talent for it.
I will probably be doing the inside parts; if I run into trouble I can take him the pieces I can't do. Found Avery has a brushed metal finish (like the oem one) that is black instead of pewter.

you may want to pas onto him the template for the dimensions for cutting the pieces in the DIY on here, that should alleviate concerns about the s shape..its really not bad as far as curves in the flat plane go (which is a legitimate concern in wrapping), its more of an issue of odd dimensions that have to be cut out of the material
