2011 G37x Coupe - Just quoted this price, could I do better?

D Plan VPP

2011 G37x Coupe
Graphite Shadow
Premium Package Only

This is what I got from the dealer.
MSRP: $43,092 Edmunds MSRP: $44,045
Given Price (I'm assuming that's their invoice): $40,397 Edmunds Invoice: $40,581

Take off $1250 VPP and $1000 dealer cash.

Final Price given: $38,147 plus T&T
Cash Down: 5,000
72 month Loan- 2.9% APR --- $545/month
60 month Loan- 1.9% APR --- $575/month

Another dealer quoted me with invoice only, so this seems so much better. Do you think this is the best they can do? Should I feel inconsiderate if I were to ask for a better deal? Also, if I could get a better deal and keep the payments roughly the same, I would get the sport package or navigation package with the premium.

Let me know your thoughts and experiences with all of this. Thanks.

those numbers seem about right. VPP is usually the best you can get, some people get away with getting lower...depends on the market.

I Just received email from a Nissan dealer that this month the are honoring VPP-D plan customers to get VPP-A plan pricing. Not sure if this offer extends to Infiniti, but worth a shot to check.

VPP-D is around 1.87% below invoice, and I think VPP-A is about 3.5% below invoice.

Is this a lease deal? And what are the rest of the figures of the deal?

You get VPP pricing by being an employee of Nissan/Infiniti, being in the military, being a business associate through your company etc..

I was just quoted 42,840 on an '11 G37 X with premium and nav.

That IS the case...Jack you got the wrong quote or need to go to a diff dealer... all VPP codes convert to A for the special deal going on right now.

They told me my D plan was being used as an A plan and that the quote was $42,800 or something along those lines, which is over invoice.

I think each dealer makes this up as they go, since you can get totally different numbers for the same exact car. shop around.
