Windshield Replaced...

Just got my windshield replaced by Safelite and not sure if i remember the top seal like this...

Thoughts???

The piece towards the glass is hard plastic and the piece towards the roof is flexible rubber... kind of like weather strip. if you pull the soft rubber piece up, its hollow inside.

Can anyone with a 13 coupe verify if theirs is the same???

Thanks!!!

On another note... I popped the hood open to make sure the "kid" didn't leave any tools under the hood and i noticed my engine cover emblem missing!!!!! It's very obvious when its missing so i know for a fact it was there during my last oil change! I don't want to point fingers and give the guy the benefit of the doubt so i searched and noticed its common for these emblems to "depart". i looked in the splash guard areas but ill give it a better look over the weekend to see if to wedged in somewhere under the engine...

Yo! I just ran out to my 2013 g37 coupe to check. No. I do NOT have that flimsy rubber seal. That black strip at the top of the windshield mates right up to the metal roof of the car.

Damn thanks!!!!! I knew something wasn’t right. I’m sure I would have noticed that while washing the car. That flexible seal is an easy trap for water and soap.

Thanks for verifying this!! I’m gonna have to call them back.

So they double gasketed the windshield ?
