Diffuser on non diffuser bumper

Hey guys ive seen the carbon fiber diffuser it looks really cool but my car currently doesnt have a diffuser is it possible to still put one on?

Ive got a jdm 370gt since i live in Australia so it has the housing for the japanese number plates and heres what my bumper looks like
