I can confirm this. I did my own headlights and also have the Sti-R lenses and it bubbles and continues to bubble/erode as it sits in the sun. The lens seems to focus light on that spot like burning ants with a magnifying glass.

Anywho I plan to do my backup set of lights and this time I'm covering that spot with some thin metal/aluminum tape. I'll post up how it goes when I get around to the project. Others have suggested smoothing jbweld over the area and other solutions.

well i dont consider boston a hot climate (besides 3 out of the 12 months haha) but guess ill just have to keep any eye on it...that sucks
