Light scratches in paint

Forgive me.. I am a complete noob at this stuff.

I have a 2013 G37 sedan. At the door handles, in the "well" where your knuckles go when you open the door - the previous owner must've had some god-awful rings. There are many scratches inside that well.

None of them are very deep, but I would like to get rid of them.

What is the best way to do this? Best Product for it? Advice?

Whatever you can advise me, thanks in advance!

If it's not through the clear coat you can use Meguiars ultimate compound, it's good for removing surface scratches and you can buff it out for a shine, followed w/ Ultimate polish and then wax, just a small microfiber pad in circular motions should clean it up. If it's through the clear coat you'll need to check w/ a body shop for the best course to take.

Yea... those scratches are kinda inevitable. I have no rings on my fingers and could swear I have never scratched it with my nails, but the scratches are there. Annoying.

I dont want to start a new thread on this but what are good options for door dings? I have like 6 or 7 nasty dings and one is about a quarter-sized dent. Makes me so angry

A good PDR guy can probably get some of them out.
Door dings are annoying as hell though. All you can really do is try to prevent it by parking far away from other people. My car is 10 years old and has 3 door dings on the passenger side... not too bad i guess but it annoys me

Get them out when you get them, I find that's the cheapest way because my dent guy is paid by the amount of time it takes. quarter sized dent is around 30-45 bucks. Or wait until many dents, may give discount for multiple.

No problem Glad it worked out, and having that product in your detailing holster is essential.
