Anyone have a black G with matte black window trim?
I did gloss black on mine, but it was my first time working with vinyl, so I'm thinking about redoing it, plus at about 2 yrs later, its starting to show it age (peeling, wrinkles)
Although gloss looks nice, thinking about changing up the look. Would think matte black would offer a nice contract, since basically the rest of my car is gloss black.

I personally thought it looked great on his black car w/ his graphite wheels. Having dark tinted windows, I don't think it matters that it doesn't match the B-pillars.

Must have had a bad install, I've had my gloss black wrap on for almost 5 years and still looks factory fresh. And the vinyl will match the center pillars much better than dip (they are vinyl wrapped from the factory).
It's not a tough DIY and only costs about $25, here's the link~ https://www.myg37.com/forums/d-i-y-i...-g-sedans.html

You're right, the vinyl fail was likely the installer (me) thinking I was handier with it than I actually was. I researched like crazy, prepped meticulously, and it was still tough to work with. All 3M stuff, but I really had a bad time with it, and it started peeling a couple of weeks later.
Just like others here speaking about vinyl wrap, I frankly don't understand the people having so much trouble with Plasti Dip. My grille and wheels have held up for two years each through a harsh Midwest winter, and the trim looks easily as good as matte vinyl wrap and just as durable. 5-7 heavy coats and I'm really pleased with the results.
Good looking cars in here, regardless of your choice!
