Driver Side Window Noise

Hey guys, has anyone had an issue with wind noise usually at 60+ mph on their driver side window? Thinking of just replacing the rubber window seal that runs around the window, but if there's another fix, I'm all ears.

I have the same problems with both of mine. If you do replace seals, please take some photos and come back with results.

Honda guys use the Shin-Etsu Silicone grease on all rubber seals to keep them pliable and lubricated. You can try something similar on yours before replacing them. Honda Part #08798-9013

It could be the window seal, or its most likely that the window could be slightly misaligned and needs adjusting. Even i fits off a couple mm you will get more noise than usual.

I took my car to get the windows tinted. Somehow the lower triangle weather stripping got pulled off the corner and folded. I put it back and straightened out another part of it but now I get a slight wind noise just at where the mirror is.

It annoys me no end. I'll start looking for replacement stripping, hope it's not expensive.

Yeah I might start with the Honda silicone grease to start. I did notice that my windows are tinted (previous owner), and that could have something to do with it...

Just upgrade your sound system and turn up the volume

bump

I am currently having this issue. It is very annoying. I went to a body shop and they struck the metal U door hinge thing in the B pillar back 1-2 mm to make the glass more flush around the weather stripping. This worked temporary but the problem is back. It drives me crazy! The infiniti dealership said the glass is out of alignment and they need to spend hours of labor $$$$$$ to readjust it. Is there another solution??

Yeah, mine is looking like the window glass is out of alignment. I may just take off the interior door panel and adjust it myself. No way I'm paying a dealership a dime to do this.

How do you adjust the glass?

My sunroof now is having similar issues. at 70-80 mph wind noise is coming through around the seal when it is completely shut

With most cars the doors glass is held in place by a couple 10-12mm bolts; just loosen them a bit, hold the glass in place and tighten. Sounds pretty simple but they are a pain to get to, its much easier with a spare set of hands.
