Reverse LED swap

It looks like my OEM bulb outshines the led replacement
But the white light do look better
The backup camera still looks pretty good also...
Should I get a different bulb or nah?

Please link where you got that led bulb from. Looks like some pretty cheap generic bulbs compared to the incandescents.

LED replacements are supposed to be a UPGRADE in terms of brightness. The bulb you purchased looks like a down grade.

I have LED reverse lights in mine. Purchased from VLEDs.com

Very bright and high quality

These are the best and least expensive I've come across. The price may have changed since, but worth every penny. Pure white. Awesome output. Lights up street at night through reverse camera.

Yeah, those look like cheap blue led replacements. I would rather have stock.

I bought some good quality replacement LEDs a while back. Probably similar to the post above.

Do you have to completely remove the tail lights to install these? (Coupe) Is there a write up?

Bulbs have been siting in my garage for months.

I just got my 2013 G37X 3 weeks ago, and soon plan on putting in LED reverse bulbs found on Amazon. Try a search for JDM ASTAR 800 Lumens. They are about $20 for a pair. They are supposedly extremely bright pure white (not the cheap bluish/purple look), around the 5,000 to 5,500 Kelvin temp range.

I recently purchased these LEDs based on a recommendation from another member on this site.

I can say these are the brightest LED reverse bulbs I have ever seen. I first tried LED backup lights several years ago on my TL and was completely unimpressed and wound up installing HID reverse lights.

These bulbs have 2 hi power LEDs under a projector lense the are forward firing and 4 more LEDs around the dides of the bulb. They are so bright, I can see the outline of the reverse light housings in my backup cam!

Highly recommended.

I actually went to my local shop and they had these 30 watt Samsung jawns
You can order them from nypowerauto.com
It's actually a wholesale site so the prices are really good. But the difference in my reverse bulbs are AMAZING

Make sure you get newer SMD 5630 which are much brighter, not old "square" SMD 5050.
