2012 coupe door sill removal

I am going to be vinyl wrapping all the time inside my '12 coupe including my door sills so I'd like to remove them. I have seen two different types of sills on the G37 (all diff years) and was wondering if the 2012 coupes had their sills held on by double sided tape or clips? thanks.

If I recall correctly only the illuminated kick plates use double sided tape while the standard kick plates use clips. I used a narrow putty knife covered in electrical tape (ghetto but worked perfectly) and pried them off when I installed the illuminated plates. They're real easy to remove either way.

How do you get the door sills out? Am I suppose to take out the black cover next to it or does the door sill just pop off?

3M makes the mounting tape and you can get it at Lowes/Home Depot and probably most auto parts stores. Hardest part will be getting the old ones off without bending and damaging them. I would wrap around them if it were me.
