Anyone know the part number for the left & right side clear headlight that was introduced in 2010 JDM?




Ik, ik, "illegal" in the US... now that we're past all that, can anyone share the part number?

Not trying to be facetious about the legality of it, it just seems a lot of people get worked up over it from what I've read on other threads/forums. So please, let's move past that.

In other threads/forums, it discusses painting the amber reflective strip or removing it entirely, but I'd like to get the clears.

I realize it's not cost effective in any shape or form, and I'm very comfortable with that.

So now that we've addressed the 2 major issues that is usually brought up regarding this topic, I would very much appreciate someone who has the information to please share it with me.

I honestly think clear headlights are so boring. Black housing is so much better. Maybe look into jdm tails instead and get the headlights done.

The OP is discussing the clear reflectors, which the USDM are actually amber running lights.

True. I'm just saying you can take the Amber out when you paint them and they look 10000x better painted than chrome

I'm not completely useless with search engines, but when it comes to this specific part, it's pretty difficult to find, hence the thread.

I got the ball rolling with the thread, and maybe in time, someone will have it, and share it.

In the meantime, I'll continue researching on my end and will be happy to share the part number should I find it.

 

so I MADE some time...

a few hours on the phone between Australia and Japan, here's the dirt:

R: 26050-JU50D or 26010-JU50C
L: 26070-JU50D or 26060-JU50C

As I feared, you can't buy the reflective strip by itself. Must purchase entire headlamp assembly, which is ~$1,500 USD each.

So far, this is the highest cost cosmetic mod I'e encountered.

Talk about exclusivity... with a G37... that term just seems oddly paired.

So, if you have ~3k USD to burn, you can consider this mod.

For that kinda money you could get your headlights done however crazy custom you want and still have a bunch of money saved up...
