Window Tinting Issue
Firstly,
I live on Long Island, New York and my window tint keeps getting crinkled and starts peeling. It solely happens in the winter, and New York doesn't even have that brutal of winters, and only on my passenger window right in the corner above the door handle. My car has been re-tinted 3 times. I have a '09 Coupe. I checked to make sure there was no debris in the window tracks and in the weather stripping on both windows and they're clean as can be. I even checked to make sure there were no tears in the weather stripping piece that runs along the window thinking maybe there was a ding or a crack in it causing it to peel the tint. I searched this topic in the threads and haven't found anything that's been updated since 2010/2011, which is why I re-posted something similar.
Any advice on how to combat this?
Secondly,
Anyone on Long Island have any recommendations of good tinting shops that are high in quality and won't try to rip you off?
I'm currently looking into The Tint Shop in Flushing, but I'd rather see if I could find somewhere closer to Suffolk County (that's where I live)or not much further west than Hempstead, in Nassau County.

I live in Queens and I got my tinting done at Hydro Auto Spa. Very professional and detail oriented.

What brand of tint are you using? Reputable tint manufacturers offer a warranty on their tint. Brands such as SunTek, 3M and Huper Optik warranty their window film. Most $99 tint shops (where I'm not suggesting you went), I can assure you won't use good quality window film.
