Diode Dynamics 168/194 bulbs don't fit

They fit fine on inside lights that have a pretty open socket but are totally the wrong shape for the front parking lights in my 2010 sedan. It only goes in like 1mm into the socket and can probably be jarred loose. It's either the part that goes into the socket is not narrow enough because of the shape of the socket, or the bulbous upper part does not taper in the right place because the socket has little wings cupping upward where interior sockets do not. Anyone else have this problem? Tried two sets of cheap Amazon leds with 5smd pattern that both fit properly.

City lights right. When I installed mine it was weird and I thought they didn't fit. Change the orientation back and forth and use some force it'll go eventually.

I actually had the same issue with my 2011 sedan DD city lights, so I had a pair of sylvania led cool white from auto zone and they fit perfectly with no hassle

Our bulbs just need to be pushed in very firmly. They are indeed the correct size, just very tight!

Thanks!

They fit for sure. I used 194 bulbs off of some Amazon retailer and Diode Dynamics is better quality than that for sure.

I think the pins and wedge are too wide comparing to other bulbs. I put the set into parking lights on my motorcycle and almost pushed the receiving pins out of the socket. Had to jam them in really hard and the pins had to be pre-bent outward because they did not contact properly with the receiving pins in the socket.

Put another set in the front parking lights of an Accord where they fit really tight and the pins had to be bent as well. Shame that it takes so much finagling. I really like the diffuser lens on it over the standard 5 led arrangement on other bulbs.
