VLED City Light LED's dont fit

I bought some led's from Vled and the city lights do not fit. I ordered the ones they said, but they will not fit in. I ordered the 194 5K White 6 Led from them and it does not fit in the sedan city lights. I thought these were the ones to order, should I have ordered something different?

That's the correct bulb size..I have heard that the ones from vled are sometimes a pain to get in (meaning its a tight fit) and I have also heard in some cases people have to trim it a bit to seat correctly. I would maybe order some from diode dynamics, they seem to be the correct fitment.

Tis true. Had issues with some LED's for our previous Pathfinder and Xterra. As my wife said when we received our LED's, "Just shove it in there!"

Here's a customer submitted photo with our LEDs installed in their G's city light location:

The HP3's are $12/pair and fit perfectly

Thanks!

I put a pair of DD HP5s in my city/parking lights last week. They fit quite nicely and are good and bright.

Easy install too. Just remove the airbox and the washer tank filler tube.

Ok, this is very interesting. I currently have the DD in my city lights, but I believe they were the stage 2 and were nowhere near the lumens I wanted. Maybe I just look for a much higher lumens from DD.

I'm not sure when you purchased, but we are now referring to our LEDs by the actual model name vs. stages in most cases.

The HP5's are plenty bright for city lights at 92 lumens

Keep in mind, these are actual measurements, not just arbitrary numbers or estimations for lumen output

They are also available in 4000K / 5000K / 6000K color temperatures

See my newer thread, DD 194's did not really fit in my 2010 sedan city lights harness/socket. HP3 is good for interior lights but not bright enough for city lights, I would go for HP5.

There might be less space in the sedan lights but both DD and VLEDS 194 bulbs fit my city lights just fine.
