Unhappy Repairing Interior Door Panel

I had been storing a travel mug in my driver's side door panel cup holder, not realizing the damage it was causing (it cannot be seen unless you are looking up at it from underneath). My lease ends in a few months and I intend to turn the vehicle in, is this something that would be considered excessive wear and tear? If I were to repair it, how might I go about doing so and how much might it cost? I am not opposed to doing it myself if there is some kind of a patch kit or something, unless this is something that should be left to professionals? Your insight is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance for your help!

I would consider that excessive damage for a 2013. It all depends on who inspects the car and how thorough/critical they are. Luckily that part is rather easy and affordable to get secondhand and quite easy to replace.

I found one here for only $90 shipped:
