Review LED Interior and Fog Lights by Diode Dynamics
I will hopefully have my 2012 G37 tomorrow but for now I am in a 2013 loaner and the fogs are terrible. I presume they willbe the same in the 2012. I have heard some skepticism RE LED aftermarket bulbs. If my goal is brighter with a better pattern, what are my options and is my information on LEDs unfounded? Looking for options!

Our XML2 fog light LED produces 1,410 lumens, which is substantially more than factory halogen bulbs FWIW

Good information, thank you. Digging a little deeper, my previous belief that yellow was the best color was debunked. So this leads me to the LED v. HID. Since the high-output LED is nearly the cost of the HID. Thoughts?

For bulb sizes that we offer the XML2. The XML2 is the best choice available
It's a simple plug and play installation, produces 1,410 lumens (measured) and is offered in the most popular color temperatures
It's also waterproof, not that that's a main feature lol

Fog Review
Install: Fairly straightforward. Raise a front corner, undo 4 screws, bend back fender liner, find bulb, twist, pull plug, attach new plug, align in socket, twist, test, done. It took longer to raise the car than to do the install. Very simple and straightforward.
Product: Impressive design that was flawless. Good machining and electrical work. The wiring was substantial and more than adequte. The light output is impressive and the pattern is EXCELLENT. There is MUCH more lateral lighting than I expected and they do NOT overpower the low beams. The color is very close to stock low beams, although it doesn't look that way in the pics.
Overall: I am quite happy, save the price. They are expensive, but I like the light. Longevity is going to be the big factor for me at this point.

Backup Lights
Install: A couple of compression clips, bulb swap, and you're done. Easy.
Product: Basic light replacement that looked to be well-designed. Light output is significantly greater than stock, but of course, I forgot pics.
Overall: Great addition to the backup lighting. With 20% tint, these shed enough light to be able to see behind you fairly easily.
