The HP5 is more of a cosmetic upgrade for the reverse light location. Our HP36 is significantly brighter and will provide usable output

I'd go with HP5 for the license plate location

The output of the higher lumen bulbs is impressive. I am not sure about a side by side comparison, but in the case of lighting, especially to the back, the higher lumen bulbs are well worth the price.

I just ordered my interior kit. I was on the fence about the back up lights but this thread just sold me.

Does anyone know which bulb on the headlight is the yellow one, that lights up at night?

Like this one below:

Has anyone replaced that yellow bulb with a diff color? such as xenon white?

The amber one in your headlight housing is your parking/city light and signal combo. If you want to get something that's white you'll need to make sure it lights up amber when you signal. LED switchbacks are what you're after.

Thanks for that. I was interested in putting in a LED turn signal up front, that'll probably make my headlights look even uglier at night then, if those yellow lights get even brighter no?

They would be a bright white until you put your signal on at which point they go amber.
