Has anybody vinyl wrapped their interior trim?
I'm thinking of wrapping all of my interior trim with either gunmetal or glossy black CF. Has anybody done this before? If so, can you answer a few questions?
1. Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it? If so, how much did they charge?
2. How long did it take? I'm pretty good with vinyl, so install shouldn't be difficult
3. How much material was needed?
4. Where did you buy it?
5. Did you use the cheap stuff or the expensive 3M? How did it hold up?
6. Pics!!!
Thanks guys

I too bought 5'x2' sheet of 3M 1080 and had enough material to make sure it all flowed in the same direction. I also primed everything with this stuff,
, and used a heat gun
Was my first time wrapping anything and I'm quite happy with the way it came out. Actually, my goto guy at the tint shop I had install my BlueBat overlays saw it and complimented me so that was quite validating

Nice jobs guys!
When going w/ vinyl don't skimp on quality, you're not going to need much and spending $40 on quality 3m scotchprint is way better than saving $15 and having to do all that labor over again and spending the $40 on top of the cheap price you already payed.

Those pics all look nice, and I was thinking of doing something similar. Is the primer needed, or just a suggestion? Also, when you buy the 3M, does it come with instructions or will I have to google it?
