StatusElite CF Diffuser Owners

I have had this thing one car for a while now and it's geting pretty dull. Do any of you how I cna gloss this thing back up. Car is at the body shop now due to a minor fender bender and said they can't put gloss on it due to it not looking right?? Anyone here put some gloss on theirs? Any suggestions would help..

Hmm that's odd, I always remember the company (Status Elite) stating that there CF products will never fade or dull. I remember the guys that worked for this company telling me that specifically. I passed and went with AKX, but that's just my personal choice. Good luck finding some answers

From my understanding, all CF products require a clear coat application. Most CF products are sold, noting that this is the responsibility of the consumer, and it will eliminate the possibility of fade.

Note: I just dug a little and found that Status Elite advertised a "special" manufacturing techique that defies the need for a clear coat application. It sounds like that "special" technique lost the battle against time. My best advice is to have it prepped and clearcoated.

I have the same diffuser and put on 4 coats of clear before it was installed. Never had an issue, looks as good as the 1st day I got it.
