Painting headlight housing?

I've seen how to do it but I'd like to see someone who's actually done it and could give me some pointers and if its worth the hassle. Also, what kind of paint to use to paint the housing? Thanks.

While doing this isn't the most difficult, I found it to be a real hassle. That being said, I LOVE the outcome!

Once you get the bumper off and headlights removed, the "fun" starts. Follow the DIY step by step that's on the forum, it will help tremendously.

I used black engine enamel to handle the heat from the lights. Just pick the color you want!

I highly recommend using the OCI butyl to reseal, preventing you from having to do everything again. Like me.....
OCI Butyl Rubber Glue

It should be obvious that you should take your time baking/prying the headlights apart. As well as take your time prepping and painting for the best outcomes.

While in there/waiting for paint to dry it's worth swapping the stock lenses for the TSX lens! While this isn't necessary, you'll love the outcome!

This is how mine turned out!
