Noob question (interior lights)

Hey guys, I just got my replacement LED's from Diode Dynamics, I'm replacing the map/dome lights right now and I can't figure out how to remove the old bulb. I got the cover off no problem but I don't see how the bulb comes out without breaking it. What's the proper way to remove it?

Photos for reference:

Just get a hold of the bulb and pull it straight out. Basically what I did.

It pulls straight out, just don't squeeze too hard.

#7 birdshot should take care of that bulb.

If you don't have any, grab it and pull as stated above.

For some reason, that bulb looks a bit more "bulbous" than what I have in my mind as a 194 bulb...hmmm
