Lightbulb Glove box light location

I bought LEDs and was putting them in and cannot find a glove box light location. Is there a glove box light? If so, where?

I have a 2011 G37x

I think the glove box has to come out to replace it. Let me dig up a thread for you.

EDIT:

Here you go, follow this guide. Also, may as well replace the cabin air filter while you're in there.

I've replaced that cabin filter already and do not recall a light, nor do I have that window light in my 2011. That thread was 2009. I have no light in my glove box now. Either it's burnt out or I do not have a light there, hence my question.

It's in the same spot from what I can tell. I just looked at my 2011 sedan, and it's in the center of the compartment, on the top "roof" of the box a couple of inches deep. In the pictures from the 2009 model, you can see a white square on the top in some of the pictures. The light is behind that.

BTW, it only works if your headlights are on (perhaps parking lights will suffice)

Try turning your lights on and open the compartment...do you see anything?

Edit:

Here is my light, and I have a 2011 sedan. You said there wasn't even a window there, are you saying it's just black in that area? Is there at least a hole there? Maybe you need to order the part.

Follow the instructions for replacing the cabin filter and you'll find it

Anyone know the light bulb model / part#? This is a tiny bulb and I don't have this micro size.

^^^^^^^^^

Did you try looking in the owners manual?
Or try the dealer parts department

I have lost some faith in my parts department. I was asking about the front turn signals, and mentioning that they are 7444NA bulbs and they didn't know what the hell I was going on about. He went in the back and grabbed what he believed to be the right bulbs, but couldn't confirm for me if they were 7444NA. I did this over the phone so I didn't see the bulbs myself, but I think he had the right bulbs. Maybe Infiniti calls it something else.

I guess what I'm saying is that if you want an oem incandescent bulb, talk to Infiniti parts, but if you want a cross reference part number, ask the forum.

If you go to the first sticky thread in the interior/exterior lighting sub forum in the tech section, you'll find the thread that lists all bulbs for the car.

That thread is a mess though, and really needs someone to redo it. Different years and models (coupe, sedan, convertible, IPL) aren't clearly listed. If you go to the last page of that thread, you'll find a post by me at the top. Read down from there.

A member named Tony tells me in that thread that you'll need LED type 74 for the glove box. I haven't bought one yet so I can't confirm. An eBay search yields many results. Let me know what you find out. I'm replacing my glove box light after the summer this year when I replace my in cabin air filter, so figuring this out hasn't been a priority for me.
