lower door lights

lower door lights

So, I'm trying to replace the lower door lights (puddle lights?) Can't seem to do it. How do I unhook the oem light pod??

use a flat screwdriver and pry the pod out of the door, from there you use the flathead again to from it open...i cant think of which part exactly but you'll figure it out by looking at it.

Just grasp the puddle lamp assembly from the bottom and pull forward/away from the door. It will pop right out.

Personally, I wouldn't use a screwdriver or other sharp metal object. One slip and you'll risk tearing the door or breaking the plastic assembly.

To each their own, however.

Be gentle & you should be ok. It's not hard to do but you don't need to go hulk on it.

Pops out from the bottom. If you use a flat head wrap a towel around the head so you don't scratch/scrap anything. If you look under there you'll see an indention.
