Paint or polished

I want red accents in my engine bay, should I leave the CAI pipes polished aluminum or paint it to match the engine cover? I think either way itll look different and beautiful.

Your engine cover looks really good! Did you paint it yourself? If so, what kind of paint did you use?

Thank you! Yea I painted it myself. I figured that with the engine cover I wouldn't feel so bad if I screwed it up. If you are going to do your own paint I'm going to highly stress "prep work". The paint I used is duplicolor engine enamel.

Leave the pipes as they are. It adds a great contrast to the Red/black look you have. In this way your eye sees each as a unique color enhancement to our normally dull engine bay. Nice job.

Yes u r right about the contrast between all the parts of the engine bay. It keeps the eye from getting bored. I'm glad I didn't do the strut bar in red then, it's too much. Thanks guys
