Suggestions on cigarette headliner burn marks?
Has anyone found an effective way to deal with cigarette burns in the headliner. I purchased my car with them unfortunately, but for the price It was worth it. I was finally able to get the stale smoke smell out of the car by leaving some white vinegar in a cup to ferment in the car while in the sun and neutralize the smell. I also ran the ac/heat to help. Finally, I used the YouTube video tutorial to replace the in-cabin filter.
However, I still have to see these gross burn marks in my headliner. Any suggestions on how to deal with these? I was also considering re-upholstering the headliner with a suede liner possibly. Has anyone replaced the headliner before? Open for suggestions

Yah your best bet will probably be to get the headliner reupholstered. You could get some of the stains out but most of them are burns as you mentioned and your not gonna get those out. Since they ate away the actual material. I'd get a nice black suede headliner, I have no idea why they used a tan headliner anyway, this is the only thing on the interior that I never really cared for. Good luck on getting this issue fixed and keep us posted on what you decide to do
