Does anyone know how much front seat room is in the G37 coupe as compared to the sedan? The closest Infiniti dealership is 2 hours away from where I live, so unfortunately I can't just stop by and sit in one. Based on the photos I've seen of both the coupe and sedan interiors, the front cabins both look to have the same amount of room... but photos can be deceitful. (Obviously, there's no getting around the fact that the coupe's backseat is dinky)

From my seat time in both car's I would have to say they are about the same up front. As you have stated, the real difference is in the back seat... and the trunk, or lack thereof.

 

Thanks. I'm still trying to decide on whether I want a coupe or sedan; I definitely prefer the coupe's styling, but it may be too impractical if interior space is really that tight. I thought the sedan had an adequate amount of front seat space, but I really wouldn't want any less than that.

BTW, is it true that the seats in the coupe are positioned lower/deeper? Do you feel like you're sitting in the cockpit of a fighter jet or whatever when you're in the coupe?

 

I own a sport coupe and have gotten a handful of g37x loaners from my dealer during service visits.

The sedan seats feel higher, or perhaps the dash is lower. The sedan has more headroom in the front seat. The coupe seat is low but does not as low/cockpit-like as an Impreza or FR-S/BRZ.

You definitely feel like you are in a coupe, but you don't feel like you are driving a smaller sports car as Dough mentioned. Between the sedan and the coupe, the coupe definitely gives you more of a sensation that it means business based on the seating position. Nothing says i'm fast like opening and closing heavy long doors and crawling in and out of the car.

 

Coupe seats also go back further. I have a sedan and a coupe. In the sedan, full back and I can still drive fine. In the coupe, full back and I can't touch the pedals. I'm 6'2" with a 33 inseam....and I'm a Virgo.
