Paint match issue-automotive touch up.com

So i have. 2010 g37 coupe s anniversary edition. The grey paint with red seats. I had a little mishap resulting in a hole in my from bumper, so I decided to bondo it myself and patch it and paint it. I've done this before so it's nothing new to me. I gave a shot at automotivetouchup.com and ordered their aerosol spray paint, sand able primer, and clear coat. Color I ordered was KAD graphite shadow metallic which is what the paint Color of my G was SUPPOSED to be. The anniversary only comes in the grey color.

So after applying it, turns out the paint I ordered is much darker. Guys, did I order the right damn paint? It was supposed to be right but does not
Match one bit. The job came out great by the way so I like their stuff.
But is this the correct color for this edition? My research shows it is graphite shadow metallic.

I'd like to hear some of your thoughts.

Hmm, well I see "Amethyst Graphite K57" and "Dessert Shadow KAC" on the website...KAD is actually "Gun Metallic". Looks like some confusion as to which color is which as neither of these 3 exactly match the name of your color :\

Did you put clear coat over the touch-up spots? The paint won't match if you skip on using clear coat.

Bummer, pretty well known paint company too. I haven't had to paint anything on the G but on another vehicle, I took my gas door off and into a local Oriellys and had them laser match it. They filled an aerosol can and it worked great. Some auto stores offer automotive paint sales so call around and bring in your gas door. That way they can match the sun fade and color to that exact day's shade and not just the cars code when it was built years ago.
