Pls, Help! headlight silver line? Is it suppose to exist on all car colors?

Hi guys, I been having some bad luck. Can someone kind enough and confirm that this "silver line" at the corner of the headlight suppose to exist as OEM factory? Is there suppose to be a silver color line or it suppose to be clear for all car colors? Mine is showing a silver line and my car is white. I want to confirm if my headlight was swap out or that's how OEM headlight suppose to be for all car colors.

Post picture if your car is white, or any colors except for silver.

Thanks.

That's strange to see on a 2013, did you buy it used or was this some sort of dealer add-on (like pinstripes)? If you don't like it I'd remove it, also the edges of the headlight cover are a bit prone to cracking, maybe that was used to cover up some cracks?
If you do remove it be very careful, as I said that outside area tends to be a bit brittle.

My 2011 looks exactly like that. There's silver paint behind the lens that goes from the bumper to the top of the headlight, at which point it just ends. Rather poorly, too, in my opinion. Hmm. I never noticed that before. And that's saying a lot.

If that silver strip isn't on all headlights, maybe it's another difference between the sport and non-sport headlights? No wait, that's not it. You went and installed paddle shifters on your AT, so non-Sport, right?

IDK, man. It's a feature.

I bought it new. I won't know if it's some dealer add-on. I don't mind, I just want to confirm that the silver line is factory by Infiniti.

I guess it's factory then? Mine is exactly like your that goes from bumper to the top of the headlight, poorly done as well. Yes, mine is a non-Sport.

Thank you very much for the picture, sir!

Yeah, it's OEM.... My 2010 has it as well..... I never noticed that either, Rochester! It is a bit poorly done. It seems to "fade" at the top. Odd

Exactly, and not well, either. I'd rather there were a clean line, or a perfect fade. This is just sloppy.

Pretty fascinating though, to see something I never noticed before on the car I've owned and obsessed on for over two years. Just the other day, I realized I have 3 different background options on my display screen. And that if I used my right hand on the right side of the sun visor, it's easier to pull down than the left side. Sometimes it's the little things. LOL

I think he means the the preset solid color, not a custom background that you can import in. I try but no luck.
