Hi everyone,

I was driving a loaner car today (2010+ g37 sedan) and I noticed that the interior lighting had the "theater" effect where the interior lights would slowly fade away. Its a cool effect and makes the car seem classy.

I have an 09 sedan and I have all my interior lights swapped to LEDs. I've noticed that they don't have the theater lighting effect. I switched them out so long ago that I don't remember if the original lights had that effect or not. Does anybody know if the 09 sedans are supposed to have that feature? I've tried doing many searches and I couldn't find anything.

LED's won't slowly dim like incadecents ... my 08 coupe did so my guess would be the 09 sedan did too

 

Yeah it had to do with your LED swap. All current gen Gs fade out.

i swapped my lights for very bright LED and they fade out. I didnt notice a difference between the original and LED in time fade i believe. they should fade no matter. My charger is the same with LED; they fade out.
