I bought this kit LED Daytime Running Light DRL Relay Harness Auto Control ON OFF Switch Universal | eBay
and about to start working on a project i have thought up

BUT this kit has this 'optional white wire that connects to 'Headlight +', that turns off the DRL when headlights are on

That is what i need as I don't want these on at night, as they are DRLs

what exactly is this Headlight+ I need to connect the white wire to, and where do I find it

Its a 2010 G37x Sedan (Canadian model)

 

It might be too late but I purchased this exact same product and it broke within a week. The seller was great and sent me a new one, but I was gun shy and send them both back for a full refund. I ended up buying the Phillips kit from Amazon- $75 and it contains both the DRLs and the wiring to hook it up. MUCH happier.

 

C an you link? And dies it turn off once headlights are on. That's what I'm trying to figure out how to do, form a wiring perspective

 

I hooked mine up to my fog lights. Just tap into the positive wire that goes to your lights. Headlights are a little tricky because of ballasts, you can easily tap into parking lights.

 

I had these installed professionally and they hooked the wire into the parking light. I just pulled it out so my DRLs are on all the time.
