Leds - Dome / Map Lights - Faint Pulsating / Flickering when On

Hi.

I switched the oem bulbs with the wled-x5 from superbrightleds on the doors and dome. When the dome lights are on, there's a faint but rapid flicker that's barely noticeable. I'm not referring to the noticeable flicker that occurs when the engine turns at start. The door lights are constant and don't have this issue. Is there a led bulb type that won't flicker? It doesn't seem that the bulbs are defective because they work fine elsewhere.

Is there a particular voltage or something else to look for that resist flickering? Thanks.

I had diode dynamics LEDs. They flickered all the time.

I switched to vled, and no more flicker. I think it's because vleds puts a resistor in theirs and DD is a little more inexpensive and doesn't.

IMHO, VLED is just a better product.

I have DD interior LED Stage 2 and no issues with flicker.
I actually had an issue with V-LED's switchback bulb, so I guess it all depends on your luck.

You have to make sure that the LEDs are seated properly in the socket. If they are flickering that can indicate that they aren't making full contact with the contacts on the base of the socket. We test all of our products extensively to ensure proper fitment.

If you ever have any issues with our products, you can always PM me or shoot us an email at: contact@diodedynamics.com

We stand behind our products and are always here if you have questions

Thanks,
