Interior on my g37s coupe is getting worn fast
My 08' g37s coupe interior is wearing terribly, the leather and steering wheel plastic are looking beat.. I just got it.
Does anyone know of any recalls for the interior? Anything?

I bought a '13 in Oct. and the driver seat is showing wear. I went to the dealer and said Infiniti will replace it once while in warranty. That is the definite direction you should go in.
I had them make a note of the seat wear and plan on going back closer to the end of my warranty.
You can put a conditioner on there to prevent further breakdown of the leather.

The steering wheel plastic piece is one of a well known piece to get worn out really fast. It's pretty cheap to replace. The leather is another known thing to get worn/seat bubble for the driver side. It's just how it is no matter how new it is. When I bought mines the door handle pull on the driver/passenger side doors were all scratched up, I went to the dealer and bought new ones and the car looks brand new again
If you're under extended warranty the dealer might change the trims out for you if you ask politely.

This seems like a recent purchase so is the interior/leather going to crap all of sudden or did the car already show noticeable wear when you bought it?
The reason I ask is dealers use whats called lot lizards who fix door dings (ever notice a decent car lot never has used cars with door dings but the mall lot is full of cars with them?) , bumpers and repair/dye interiors out behind the dealership in the parking lot. Your car could have been freshly dyed to make it appear in better shape than it really was.

I bought the G with the interior as it was but I knew going into this it wasn't going to be perfect, but I was hoping I could get away with a replacement without any cost to me. Infiniti of Elk Grove is replacing all the silver trim with scratches for me next week. But the seats are not covered whatsoever. But after a week of reconditioning them, they have turned out well.
I have a 08 journey coupe and I had to replace my dashboard above the steering wheel column and the dealer replaced it for free because it was a widespread problem. FYI keep an eye on the dash it bubbles up on the 08's at least above the steering wheel column. I just put 41xxx miles on mine and I was out of warranty but the dealer still replaced it for free.
