help with rear sensors/sonars

Had my car in an auto body shop due to a long scratch , hit run with a shopping cart. Anyways, rear bumper was removed in-order to do the job. I had a feeling I was gonna have issues afterwards, but the sonars, start beeping right away in reverse, its almost like its extra sensitive. I did mess with the settings and that didn't help. I plan on complaining tomorrow morning, I have this feeling only infiniti can fix the issue. If anyone of you got suggestions, I'm willing to try, except for taking the bumper off myself, lol.

i dont think so, i had my gf, walk behind the car, and it went from green to yellow, on the side which was damage, probably should have turned red, not sure how close she walked. and sometimes it doesn't go off until i start going backwards.

I'll take a new pic tomorrow. after looking at this pic, i thought maybe the middle senors was pushed in too far, but that how its suppose to be. Appears to be some type of calibration that's needed.

Most reputable bodyshops should be able to handle this. And if it really does require the dealer to fix, then the bodyshop should take care of that with the warranty.

As of yesterday, car is fix! Body shop man, had to take the bumper off again, after many checks, he said the issue was, the way the sensors are placed back into the bumper. Not sure what he saw, but something had to be lined up.

I installed my own rear Aero bumper and same happened to me with the sensors being extra sensitive. When I re-installed the sensors I didn't think it mattered which way they were facing but they were certainly not facing the right way.You can easily access the sensors from under the rear and push them out. Very easy, they just needed to be flipped.
