I wanted to show off the some of the end results of the original posters (bugfresh) product. Easily modified to allow the the original brake bulb to function for both turning and braking purposes (which I switched out to white LED bulb from TheRetrofitSource for no halogen delay when engaged).

Be it the plug and play iteration from DD or whatever method--imo It's a huge safety improvement in terms of additional visual presence when signaling. The oem setup during the daytime especially, can easily get lost in someones field of view and become unnoticeable to drivers following you imo.

Mine work just fine unless Im pressing the brake and have the turn signal on - when braking and having the turn on, I get a stutter in the turn signal. Its like BLINK ON, BLINK OFF, BLINK ON, STUTTER ON/OFF quickly, BLINK OFF, etc. Tried contacting Andy by email for support a while back, but haven't heard from him. Any clues how to fix?

Hi, are there any issues with the current modules with the built in resistors?

 

Anyone else have a lot of trouble getting the factory tail light connectors to release? Trying to install the Diode module and can't seem to get the tab they mention in the install video to unlock the connector.

Not sure if I'm just pressing on the wrong spot or if it needs more force (trying not to break them though).

 

is there a way to make the factory turn signal the dedicated brake light? and the rings go on with light switch engagement and flash brighter as rear turn signals? I have the triton V3's in the current factory rear turn signals which are plenty bright to be full time break lights.
