I was under the impression the parking/city light are on at all times, I thought so, so I installed some LED DRL and tapped into it, however, they're not coming on unless my headlights are on now. So that kind of defeated the purpose...

 

Yeah, you need to tap directly from the battery. There's modules available for that.

do u have pics of the DRL's on your car? I have something planned but it will be direct battery tap with inline fuse and an independent on/off switch.

 

so yeah my parking lights should always be on? Seems like you're talking about modding them to always be on.

I used a relay.

I haven't taken a pic of it yet. I have an 09 G37 non sport, I was nervous it would look weird being how big the faux vents are but they turned out OK
