Replacing Interior lights with LED

Does anyone know the recommended way to open up the overhead light compartment so that I can replace the lights with new LED's? I tried prying it down but didn't want to break it.

TIA

Yes it does. I used my fingers to pry it open though.
Pry from side closest to front windshield. On the opposite side are plastic catches that are non-bendable. Unclip both wire connectors.

Appreciate it. Although, to replace just the bulbs i found that all you need to do is carfully remove the white covers that you press to turn the lights on. I used a small screw driver with a piece of cloth tape wrapped around it inserted into one of the edges. With a little downward pressure it will release from the unit so that you can access the old incandescent bulbs (make sure you do this with the door closed because those suckers can get pretty hot!)

I replaced all the bulbs in the car including the trunk bulb and I have to say it looks pretty slick. It definitely brightens the car up as well. It also ties in nicely with the illuminated kick plates I had installed ($232 + free labor due to a "we owe" credit from time of purchase.)

What LED's are you using and where did you get them from? How much per bulb?

Infiniti G37 White Interior LED Package (7 Pieces) : Amazon.com : Automotive Infiniti G37 White Interior LED Package (7 Pieces) : Amazon.com : Automotive

Under $20

One weird thing I remember from the install is that they have to be installed in a specific direction. If they don't light up just flip them and they'll work.
