I just like how it looks plain and simple.
Being proud of the brand is one thing, but being proud of my car is another. The right people will appreciate it who care to. Otherwise it just comes down to ones own liking.
(this repeats what most people have said, but I thought I'd chime in)

You need to remove all the old stuff and use some douple sided tape from Home Depot...works just fine...I actully put a sick front lip on my last car with double sided tape and some garage door weather stripping...looked clean and expensive but really only cost me $12.

But yeah...double sided tape would work just fine on badges.
