amethyst graphite platinum graphite, difference

Whats difference between these 2 colors, they both look the same to me. Someone please explain

amethyst graphite, platinum graphite.

From: Sacramento CA

amethyst will have more of a purple hue to it depending on how the light hits the car. Platinum more of a golden brown like hue.
